Pastor Rob Hale, Lead Pastor

“I am blest to be serving my 14th year as Senior Pastor in Ironton, having been born and raised in our area has yielded huge dividends by knowing the people of our area.” Pastor Hale has served over 40 years since being called to Preach the gospel, starting as a Children’s Pastor, Youth Pastor and multiple staff positions. Ordained in 1985, He has served three Nazarene Church’s starting at the Argillite Church in 1987, Ashland Plaza Church in 2002 and Ironton First in 2009. Pastor Hale was bi-vocational 35 1/2 years, having recently retired from Western Southern Insurance.  He enjoyed working in financial services while experiencing multiple rewards, one of which is ministering outside of the four walls of the church. Receiving a gift from God over 20 years ago that has resulted in three wonderful children was his wife Lori Ann (Sergent). “I am most undeserving of all the manifold blessings from our Lord, but happily receive and enjoy all of them.”

 Philip Perry Sr.,
Media & Security Pastor

Pastor Perry has served as senior pastor in churches in West Virginia, Maryland, and Kentucky. He has also served as a district youth treasurer, Festival of life director, and District NYI president. He is a 1989 graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene College, was ordained in 1990 and served continuously until his retirement (due to health reasons) in 2006. He serves in Ironton as a volunteer and he and his wife Susan love the people they serve and the jobs they perform!

Charlie Cameron, Children'sDirector

Charlie was born in Ohio and raised across the river in Flatwoods, KY.   She is a mom to one daughter and "Mam" to 3 amazing grands.  She has always loved working with children from babysitting in high school & college to becoming a preschool aide.  Then, she became a teacher at Sugar Creek Christian Academy.  She works in the ER as her real job.  She believes God has blessed her by bringing her here.  Join Charlie and the children on Sundays for Sunday School at 9:30 AM, followed by Children’s Church at 10:30 AM.  Wednesdays the children meet at 7:00 PM.

Rev. Mark Fonner
 

Good morning my dear friends, we preach to “hold our loved ones near & dear” as we are not promised tomorrow and it’s with a sad heart that I share our Brother Mark Fonner has crossed over early in the morning April 30, 2023…I’m blest to have shared with him a few days ago about our District Assembly and all the victory’s won, those Ordained into the Christian Ministry and those receiving their District License…Mark LOVED everything about the Church of the Nazarene and our Wesleyan Armenian heritage. Rev. Mark Fonner was a good Man.
